Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice began her 15 month prison sentence on Monday when she turned herself over to authorities. Teresa will serve her sentence at a federal correctional institution in Danbury, Connecticut, the same minimum security prison that the show Orange Is the New Black is based upon. Teresa's attorney, James Leonard, spoke on Today on Monday morning, stating that the reality star is "mentally and emotionally prepared." He also said that Teresa's husband, Joe Giudice, "was somber," and that "the enormity of this entire situation hit him." Once Teresa completes her sentence, her husband Joe will serve a 41 month sentence.
