Reese Witherspoon re-created the proposal scene from her 2002 hit Sweet Home Alabama ahead of Tiffany & Co.'s Blue Book Collection dinner in New York City on Wednesday. She stopped by the store's flagship Fifth Avenue location earlier in the day where she was surprised with the cute moment. While her costar Patrick Dempsey wasn't there, Reese was presented with a ring by a man in a suit and posted a snap with the caption, "Um. This just happened. @Tiffanyandco just surprised me with a #SweetHomeAlabama moment in NYC??!!! Where magical moments happen. #Pinchme #NotYourAverageWednesday !!"
Reese then attended the glamorous dinner with fellow stars like Olivia Wilde and Amber Heard. Olivia looked gorgeous in a white dress, and Amber appeared to go braless in a peach-colored silk number.
