David Beckham rang in his 40th year in style. It all started on Friday, when David and wife Victoria took off on a jet plane. Victoria shared a photo of the couple on Instagram with the caption, "So excited to be celebrating David's birthday x #DB40." And the photos just kept rolling in all weekend long. David kicked off his birthday on Saturday with a sexy selfie in bed. "Good morning and hello!" he wrote in his first post on his new account. "It's great to finally be on Instagram, been a long time coming but I can't wait to start sharing all my special moments with you. Thank you for all your birthday messages so far. Looking forward to a great day with friends and family x."
The photos that followed showed the retired football star's celebration at a five-star resort in Marrakech, Morocco. While he was expected to be feted by a big group of family and friends - including Gordon Ramsay, Tom Cruise, David Gardner, and Liv Tyler - the cutest moments were courtesy of his family. In the build-up to the extravagant party, David and Victoria hung out by a pool with their kids, including boys Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz.
Later in the night, the Spice Girls let loose with Eva Longoria, while David's parents and sister inspired him to reflect on incredible journey.
