Kate Middleton "is in the early stages of labor," the palace has confirmed. Early Saturday, she checked into the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital in London, where she is set to give birth - Kate welcomed Prince George at the same hospital back in July 2013. Now, we just have to wait for the royal baby to make his or her entrance into the world! The palace tweeted the news:
HRH The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted at 06.00hrs to St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London and is in the early stages of labour.

Just like when George was born, the palace plans to announce the baby's birth via Twitter. Then, they will confirm the birth and reveal the baby's gender with a traditional announcement on an easel outside of Buckingham Palace. Kate and Prince William are later expected to debut the baby with a special photo shoot on the steps of St. Mary's Hospital. It's been an exciting time for Will and Kate, while waiting for their second child they also rang in in their fourth wedding anniversary on April 29 - see their cutest moments over the years. Before going into labor with Prince George's sibling, Kate spent cute quality time with her firstborn earlier this month with an adorable day at a nearby petting zoo. As we await the little one's arrival, check out everything you need to know about the new royal baby (including the most popular potential baby names) and look back on all of Kate's stylish pregnancy outings.
