Kate Middleton became a household name in 2004, when her college romance with Prince William first went public. She's since spent the better part of the last decade in the spotlight, with her and William's gorgeous wedding and the births of their two children creating renewed interest in the royal duo. Now, another royal couple is about to take the spotlight. Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and Sofia Hellqvist are set to marry on June 13, and while the world may not be quite as familiar with the soon-to-be-Swedish princess, there is still plenty of fascination over the 30-year-old commoner. Sofia will be just one year older than Kate, who was also a commoner, when she marries Prince Carl Philip. And while Sofia's initial rise to fame on a reality TV show is a far cry from Kate's posh upbringing and education, there are still more than a few similarities between the two women.
