These revealing pictures illustrate what everyday life is like for 18-year-old Malala as she spends time at home with her family and goes to school, all the while remaining an activist for education and civil rights. He Named Me Malala, which explores both the ordinary and extraordinary moments in Malala's life, hits theaters on Oct. 9.
