Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have only been dating for a short time, but it seems as though the country star knows his girlfriend pretty well already. Shortly after Gwen blew the roof off of The Voice on Monday with an earth-shattering performance of her hit breakup ballad, "Used to Love You," Blake told Extra, "Right when she wrote the song she was like, 'My gosh, I put exactly what I wanted to say into a song.' Sometimes it's hard to put it exactly how you want to say it when it's that personal to you, and so she was so excited that she got that out, and then it ends up being this smash song that it's turning into."
Blake then went on to praise Gwen, saying, "She deserves it. If you go through whatever she went through to write that song, at least she's getting something good, positive out of it." The Voice coaches confirmed their romance in November. Since then, the duo has shared several cute photos of themselves together on social media, Gwen has gushed over Blake in recent interviews, and Gwen has even gone as far as telling Blake she loves him on national television.
