Chris Hemsworth Describes the "Happiest Moment" He's Had With His Daughter, India

Chris Hemsworth appeared on the cover of Parade magazine this week alongside his In the Heart of the Sea director Ron Howard, and while his bulging biceps are on full display, it's Chris's adorable quotes about his family that really make the feature great. When describing his happiest moment of his life thus far, the actor recounted a truly heartwarming story about his daughter India.

"Last week, we were in the car driving somewhere and my little girl was in the back seat with me. I was really tired, and I leaned over and I put my head on her lap. . .And she started patting my head and singing a song through her pacifier. There's the idea that we as parents spend all this time protecting our children. No, I think they're protecting us. Sitting in the car with my head on her lap and her singing to me, there was this understanding of, 'Wow she's looking after Dad, and that's her job.' You know? And that was such a joy. Oh, there's nothing better! It was the happiest moment of my life."

Chris also touched on the way his ever-growing career has effected his family life, mentioning how the paparazzi in LA made them feel so "suffocated" that they moved to Phillip Island in Australia, a "quiet little surf town with a lot of farming." Once you've gotten the image of a shirtless Chris in farmer's overalls out of your head, check out his drastic weight loss for In the Heart of the Sea, and some ridiculously hot pictures of him and wife Elsa Pataky!
