Ellen DeGeneres was honored with the favorite humanitarian award at the People's Choice Awards in LA on Wednesday night. The comedian and talk show host had the support of her wife, Scandal star Portia de Rossi, and the couple coordinated in black and white looks and sat side by side to watch the ceremony. Ellen's big prize is a $200,000 donation from Walgreens that she is donating to her chosen beneficiary, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; Ellen has used her hit daytime show to garner awareness for the cause, and in a statement about the award, Ellen remarked, "I think it sums me up perfectly as I am both a human and an itarian."
