Great tips, Faya! I totally agree that the time to start training is always NOW and not 3 weeks before summer rolls around. It’s hard to get off the couch in the winter, but it’s worth it! I’m a Group Fitness Instructor and I always tell my participants that it’s better to train consistenly throughout the year, rather than super intensively for a few months.

I also always encourage my participants to prioritize proper form for both safety and effectiveness. I love your tip about asking trainers at the gym for help if you’re unsure about form. It’s so important! I’ll be sharing this post with my classes because I think it’s a great summary of training basics. Thanks for posting!
